Kristine W - headliner - pridefest mainstage
A fourth generation entertainer who hails from Pasco, Washington, Kristine W began honing her musical skills at a young age. After winning titles as Miss Tri-Cities, Miss Washington and placing first in the talent competition at the Miss America pageant, Kristine went on to big success in Las Vegas and became a headliner for her own show at the Las Vegas Hilton.

After conquering Las Vegas, Kristine went to the top of the dance charts in 1994 with Feel What You Want. After signing with RCA, she released LAND OF THE LIVING and captured two more #1 dance hits including One More Try and the album's title track. In 2000, she released STRONGER, which included two more #1 dance hits, including Lovin' and the album's title track. Overcoming a two-year battle with Leukemia, Kristine then completed work on FLY AGAIN. While in that process, she recorded and released her sixth song in a string of eight chart topping singles to hit number one. The song was entitled Some Lovin' and it quickly became a hit around the world and was featured on the SHOWTIME series Queer as Folk.

As of 2007, Kristine W holds the record for the longest string of consecutive #1 singles for that chart with nine, a record that beats out Madonna and Janet Jackson. We are thrilled to have local girl made good at this year's PrideFest!

 Seeing Blind

SEEING BLIND
www.seeingblindband.com

Seeing Blind - Band - Main Stage
Front woman/guitarist/songwriter, Melissa Levi, leads Seeing Blind with her passionate vocals and strong, clean guitar styling. Her rich voice lends from a melting pot of influences ranging from the power of Janis Joplin and Ani DiFranco to the sweetness of Jeff Buckley. Classically trained cellist, Jessika Kitzman, complements Melissa's rich vocals like no other instrument can. Seasoned veterans to the NW scene, bassist Wes Amundsen and drummer Luke Larson, supply the tight rhythm section capable of morphing to any sound from rock to funk to jazz.

Seeing Blind has just begun to explode onto the local, regional and even national scene. With a recent review in Music Connection Magazine and a write-up in The Seattle Sinner as their May "Artist of the Month", they are starting to reach a wider array of listeners. They have a major tour (The Truth and Treason Tour) kicking off in July 2008 and a new album (Simulated Sun Rays) coming out in late summer/early fall. They are thrilled to have the opportunity to participate in this year's event!

 GLAMAZONIA

GLAMAZONIA
www.myspace.com/seattleglam

GLAMAZONIA - Host - Mainstage
GLAMAZONIA erupted into Seattle's Drag Scene nearly 15 years ago. Towering over the masses at many venues around the city, GLAMAZONIA never fails to draw attention. Best know for her seven year engagement with Lifelong AIDS Alliance, as the longest-running, and most-loved 'Gay Bingo' Hostess. GLAMAZONIA has appeared on national television in such shows as 'The Maury Povich Show', 'Veronica Mars', and CURRENTtv in a documentary by local film maker Patrick Baroch.

GLAMAZONIA draws inspiration from the comedic talents of Carol Burnett and Lucy, the glamour of Cher, and her design savvy from Bob Mackie, Edith Head and Bob Villa; her outifits may just as easily be satin and lace or hot glue and duct tape. Never afraid to say what she thinks, GLAMAZONIA is often found laughing at herself as often as she does at others.

 Barbara Sehr

BARBARA SEHR
www.liftingthefog.com

Barbara Sehr - Comic - Main Stage
Barbara Sehr has a steady algorithm that dances to a different aerial density. OK, she's a funny technical writer who brings out her native German sense of humor. Despite all that, she is not only funny, she is the only known journalist to interview Bill Gates as both a male and female reporter.

Barbara is all sugar and spice - everything G-rated nice - with an occasional puppy dog tail thrown in for old-time's sake. Yes, she's looked at love from both sides now, but her political humor is definitely blue-state without the blues. She is a six-foot tall teller of tall tales and short one-liners. Even as Weight Watchers diminishes her wide-screen stage presence, one kilo at a time, her heart is heavy with a passion for ending narrow-mindedness.
