BROADWAY STREET FESTIVAL NOON-9PM

LOCATIONS FOR VENDORS WHO BOOKED WITH PREVIOUS PROMOTER: We only placed PrideFest vendors and sponsors so far. On Tuesday night, we'll send out an e-mail to ask for location information from those who booked with the Capitol Hill Pride Festival and March, and we will place those folks by end of day Wednesday. There may be changes on Thursday but we will lock down the map by EOD Thursday. Please be patient with us as we process all registrations. ON SATURDAY, we are likely to get vendors who never heard about the old event's cancellation. We ask everybody to be patient as we sort those vendors out. Placements may not be ideal for all but we'll do our best to ensure everyone who registered has space and that we respect the storefronts of Broadway businesses.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We just inherited the Broadway location for PrideFest Capitol Hill days ago, so bear with us as we make this quick transition. If you booked directly with PrideFest from the start (for our Sound Transit Light Rail activation), you will have a new location but don't need to do anything.

  • IF YOU BOOKED WITH THE FORMER EVENT PRODUCERS (Capitol Hill Pride Festival and March) AND ALREADY PAID THEM, you get a free booking.
  • IF YOU ARE A BROADWAY BUSINESS OR ARE PART OF THE BROADWAY BIA (or already booked additional space with Capitol Hill Pride Festival), then rebook (free) with us.
  • IF YOU GET A REFUND FROM THE CAPITOL HILL PRIDE FESTIVAL, then please re-book/pay PrideFest for your booth space, beyond any free space for Broadway brick and mortar businesses.

If you booked your free booth but then receive a refund from the other organizer, please rebook and pay HERE.

If in doubt, we can always resolve any payment after Pride weekend. The most important thing is that you're registered. We will reach out to you to see the parameters of your booth space and booking.

LOAD IN INFO:
We will have final load-in information to you by end of day Thursday 6/22. We are developing a plan so that cars and trucks will enter the festival area for setup by particular streets, and leave by another street. This will help to facilitate flow and enable quick setup for all. We will likely duplicate that plan for load-out.

In general, you can set up between 9am-noon, with vehicles off grounds by 11am

LOAD OUT INFO:
Load out won't happen until 9pm. Vehicles cannot be on site for load out until after 9pm. No exceptions to this (save for emergency vehicles).

TENTS, TABLES, AND CHAIRS
Almost all vendors and sponsors at this event will bring their own tent, tables, and chairs. PrideFest will not be providing this unless you made arrangement for that to happen (only 3 vendors have this arrangement so most likely you are NOT getting anything from us). Please plan to bring all your own supplies.

POWER
We do not provide power for any vendors unless you've already arranged it (this applies only to 2 sponsors). Small generators are acceptable for power--you'll want to rent or bring yourself. Larger generators need a permit from the Seattle Fire Department and must properly grounded. PARKING: You'll want to find an all-day lot for parking or take public transportation. Parking and moving around Capitol Hill becomes VERY difficult as the day goes on, so park early if possible. You can find parking lots on Parkopedia.

FAMILY PRIDE/QUEER YOUTH PRIDE INFORMATION
1PM-7PM

If you are a vendor/sponsor in Cal Anderson Park for Family Pride and/or Queer Youth Pride, WE PROVIDE tent, table, and chairs. Not need to bring it.

Most vendors are coming for the entire event from 1pm-7pm, but some of those who were referred by Gay City informed Gay City that you could show up for one or the other, which is fine.

IF YOU'RE COMING FOR ALL DAY:
You can come to Cal Anderson Park anytime between 10am and 12:30pm to set up. Please be sure you're ready by 1pm. For those just presenting for Queer Youth Pride, please arrive no later than 4pm to set up your booth.

FAMILY PRIDE: 1PM-4PM
QUEER YOUTH PRIDE: 4PM-7PM

LOAD-OUT WILL HAPPEN STARTING AT 7PM

PARKING: there is ample parking on Capitol Hill, including 4-hour parking along the length of the park. NOTE: IT WILL GET EXTREMELY BUSY ON CAPITOL HILL DURING THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY, so those trying to park at that time may experience issues. If you are only coming for the second half of the show, if possible, use public transportation (the light rail station is only a block away). For those staying all day, you are best off paying for parking at one of the many lots. You can find parking lots on Parkopedia.
