WHAT DO WE SPEND OUR MONEY ON?

  • Renting the Seattle Center grounds
  • Artist performance fees
  • Staging, decoration, banners
  • Flyers, ads, website, design, posters
  • Setup of beer garden, tables, booths
  • Donations to local non-profits (last year we gave nearly $10,000)
  • Production staff (the Bite of Seattle folks do all our booth layout and setup work)
  • Administrative Costs
  • Flight and Hotel for performers
  • Ground transportation for talent
The festival is a great chance to bring the whole community together one weekend a year to celebrate and it costs nearly $100,000. As of now, none of our staff gets paid a penny for their services, and some (especially our Festival Director) give months of their time and money out of their own pocket. We think the event should be supported by the WHOLE community, not just a select few. Please help "save" Pride and make it great this year - become a community member!

What do you get for your $200?

  • Two tickets to SHAMELESS with DJ Escape ($100 value) - the big party of Pride weekend
  • Two Official Seattle Pride® T-shirts ($40 value)
  • Invite to the Official Seattle Pride® launch party.
  • Invitation for two for the VIP section at PrideFest (where guests drink for free) ($60 value)
  • Listing on PrideFest website indicating your support
  • Knowing that you've helped to create a great NW LGBT event!

Give a donation ($1-500) to One Degree Events to help us defray some of the costs of producing the Festival (not tax-deductible). With this option, you choose to NOT get the community sponsor package but just want to help out.

For people who want a tax-deductible donation and want to contribute over $500, please contact us about this. We're getting our 501c3 federal non-profit tax status in the next few months for our organization THE PRIDE PROJECT (A Washington State non-profit who will be taking over PrideFest).
